Course Description:
JBoss for Administrators is targeted toward application support individuals, such as system administrators, configuration management and quality assurance personnel who wish to become proficient in configuring and administrating the JBoss application server (3.2.x and 4.x series) and the applications deployed on the application server.

Prerequisites:
Students must have basic working knowledge of the Windows or Linux (Unix-based) operating system. The student must also have experience with creating directories, files and modifying access rights to the file store; installing a JDK; configuring environment variables, such as JAVA_HOME, for an Operating system; launching Java applications and executing an OS-dependent script that launches a Java application; and creating and expanding a Java archive file (the jar utility).
